http://ListFormula.com You know how some people are "dog" people and how some people are "cat" people, right? They just are. I mean, there is some cross-over. Some people like both cats and dogs, but what group would you have a better chance of selling a puppy to? The dog people, right?

Well, that's how Internet marketing works. You can't possibly sell things to people that aren't remotely interested in what you have to sell. Oh, sure... Like I said, some of the cat lovers might be interested in the puppy, but who's going to be your best, most responsive audience?

http://ListFormula.com

It's the same thing online. If you have an opportunity to sell an Internet marketing product to your gardening audience, don't try it. Probably none of those people will be interested. They come to you for great gardening tips, and for advice on how to plant tulips, not information on how to make money online. It's a total disconnect and you could end up just making people mad.

You don't want to do that! You want to create an atmosphere for your list that allows them to come to know you, like you, and trust you. Once you've established yourself in that way, you can sell the people on your list anything that involves your niche from ebooks to software, and those people will buy from you.

In fact, to boost your lead generation efforts and to create the bond you need with your audience, you should give something away on your squeeze page. Create a special report, an audio, or a video about something interesting to your niche and give it away as incentive to get people to opt in.

Just be sure you're not trying to give people in your gardening niche an ebook about cats and you'll be much more successful in getting leads and in keeping them.
