@mdmaroon cool ... when i was in France i saw the flexible version one in the shop .. and i didnt buy it . because i`m not really sure is it worthy to buy or not ... well since ur using it .... how was it ? ^_^
You are correct. It is a boning knife, but it is the flexible version, making it suitable for fish. I believe the main difference between a boning and a filleting knife is that the filleting knife is flexible.

I like it. Previously I had been filleting fish with a regular chef's knife. This works much better.

i believe that global knife that you're using is a deboning knife . instead of a filleting knife ..
