Crysis DX9 vs DX10.

A video of the DX9 and DX10 Mode from Crysis.
It's not fair, in DX 10 mode they throw Grenades and cut trees etc, and by DX9 they don't. But no worries there is not allot differens From DX9 till DX10 Anly the Light beams and a bit better textures and Motion blur and a bit better colours. Not a hack of al lot differents, zo don't worry :P And the most videos made from crysis is record on DX9, so you are good whene you have only DX9 :)

The shadows in 9 only look better because of the youtube quality issues - crysis + dx10 on a 20+" 1080p display is gonna be pure gravy.

And the smoke is 3D and in Dx9 PROPERLY 2D :P

I think the shadowing effect is better in the DX9.

There more realistic colours and light beams, that's a whole differents but not much more then that.

Hmm, that appears to be the original teaser for the game... The final product ended up looking nothing like that, even under DX10 mode. It still looks awesome, but not as good as they originally showed us.

BTW, you can force most DX10 effects under DX9 mode, in Crysis. :)

I hate motion blur on dx9, I can't run crysis on dx10 because I get the famous nvlddmkm. I run the hp mod on dx9, it there any way I can run motion blur on dx9?

what?! how the hell? I have that and it runs 12-20 fps in the cave lvl and about 20-30 in the rest of the game. I get like 8 fps or less on the final level. why does it lag so bad omg. MSI geforce 8600GT is garbage then

to be honest, you don't notice the diffrence if you play on low settings and have a bad system

stick with XP if you're playing on low settings, don't be fooled by these stupid advertisements on DX 10 it's useless unless you got a high end pc that can handle crysis on high settings with smooth framerates :)
