  • at 0:39 he has a jewish star on his necklace but at 1:17 he has a cross lol

  • I know it sounds weird, but this scene influenced me to patch up things with my wife. Somehow, thugs promoting certain basic family values did it.

  • @feedback5010 in the movie, his wife thinks hes jewish but he really isnt... i think

"I know how to talk to her, especially to her."

I think this was the film's way of implying that Paul Vario (Paul Cicero, as his character is called in the movie), had an affair with Karen Hill, as in real life. Not everything can be put on screen but this subtlety works especially well.

In real life, Paul Vario had an affair with Karen Hill when Henry Hill was in prison. Thomas DeSimone even tried to rape her. They are not promoting family values here. They are just trying to keep up appearances (like Paul Verio says at 0:57).

  • There would be a lot more people stayed married if thugs were involved in dictating how they lived. Save marriage, vote for Hitler.

  • I think this girl was supposed to be Theresa Ferrara...who was later murdered.

  • @feedback5010 He wore something else too at 0:56

  • I got the two of 'em coming over the house everyday commiseratin', the two of 'em... i can't have it

  • Nice scene, one of the best mob movies.

  • In the first scene, is Jimmy wearing Henry's suit?

  • Bobby-D's dialogue in this scene is so funny. "I can't have it, can't have it... Y'know, I can't do it Henry... I-I-I-ah, I can't do it... Do whatcha wanna do, we all know that... I mean, this is what it is, okay, we know what it is... Gotta go home, smarten up."

It makes no sense but you know exactly what he's saying at the same time.
