Seems to me the term unicycle is rather misapplied. I mean, I'm a gear head and these are cool machines, and I'll acknowledge they only have one wheel - but they are certainly not balanced on that wheel. It IS possible to build a motorized Unicycle and building a race winning one would take much more engineering skill.
