Missed this the first time around..thanks for rating fckuvrymch..I like that definition of civilization as city building and cities as places that require the importation of resources.

Perhaps:
X^(-x)- Y???
An equation to include the exponential depletion of renewable resources.
Math is not civilization's best subject or all of this would have been quite obvious years ago. Interesting that many ancient tribal and civilized legends center around the end of the world (as we/they know it) concluding the stories, after humanity's complete exploitation of the planet and all of it's creatures for it's own greed and arrogant pursuits and expectations.
Thanks for posting

I'll tell you another thing that you probably already know it takes a well oiled machine to keep the amount of people fed that we manage to feed at this point,no not everybody gets fed now-I know that... point is we are in for some trying times soon I believe, I lot of people are going to starve to death. These starving people will become a roving band of killers possibly canibalistic, unsure on that, but they will be extremely desperate and hungry, citys will be a hellzone.

So far I'm with ya! Read the article... nasty stuff!

please change the word: "resistance" for existence.

hooligan did you see zeitgeist annedum? It talks about the things I was telling you the other day, that it is not civilization that is evil but MONEY! I agree the movie zeitgeist annedum has made mistakes (bad statements) but overall we can see a LOT of the problems of the Resistance of money. I think we can find a reason in the middle of that movie and the book ishmael, having a little of both... This could mean the solution for our society for thousands of years of peace to the end of times.
It's too bad people won't stop talking about the drama and talk about shit that matters to them. No matter how "awake" people claim to be, it seems like they are programmed to watch soap operas instead.

However...X is not a constant number. X entails many renewable resources while Y is a fairly quantifiable number. How do you calculate this equation? Please explain

the hyper-exploitation of renewable resources is leading to a point where they are no longer renewable.
for example: populations of food (from the ocean) are down 90% since 1950. continuing the "harvest" will lead to the point where seafood doesn't exist.
perhaps i didn't understand the question.
