ShortCuts Film Festival is Western Sydney's premier short film festival for young people, a popular event that has been taking place during National Youth Week since 2004.
Shortcuts offer young people (12 - 25 years) who live, work or study in the region a chance to screen their short films, get industry feedback, and win prizes for their work.
The film festival was created by Powerhouse Youth Theatre in response to community demand. Western Sydney is exploding with young filmmakers thanks to the DIY attitude of the Youtube and Facebook generation.
