each truck is equiped with a siren system.. there are alot of different systems.. ex- Federal, Whelen, Code 3 etc. each has different ones.. the most common are.. the wail, yelp, EQB, piercer tone and powercall.. all of which are electronic sirens ..the one that makes a roar sound is typically a Federal Q.
