I thought the point of the electric car was to not import oil, not necessarily for environmental reasons.. we still use coal, natural gas, and nuclear power to power our energy grid....
just ride a bike... :) problem solved.

The nissan leaf is a piece of shit obviously. $35000 for something that can get you 50-130 miles on a charge? What a load of crap. Someone needs to learn how to make batteries.
