@dannypurple1979 Haven't seen "Dangerous Minds" but I assume it's one of those teacher-saves-minority-student
s movies. While I can see how this movie has those elements to it, I don't think it really glorifies or idealizes Gosling's character. The girl he gets to know does some soul-searching and growing up, but he's not necessarily to thank for that. He's also arguably not even a very good teacher. The classroom scenes were sometimes painful. -

I wouldn't have given a damn if one of my teachers was drug addicted.My teacher of biology was the best and she was a medecin addicted..Who cares?A pathology or a sickness of a person is not a weakness,it might be a strength.Just a thought
