Because once again for the first time in a very long time we care, we are listening, we want to be involved and know, no matter how small or big, insignificant or important.

People were enamored by Martin Luther King..great people tend to gain that admiration. And people want to know things about them. So while black media is reporting the secret code names and people care to know...i believe they will take that interest and also provide information about the people Barack is surrounding himself with that will be key decision makers. Take interest in his tax plans, his economic plans, his healthcare plans, his global plans.

So yes as trivial as it is for people to be so enamored about the Obama's code names it shows they are listening. The black media is reporting it because they now have an audience that wants to know...that cares. I believe that this will be the first time in a long time since the Civil Rights Movement that we as a black people will be so intrigued to pay attention to the government.Pay attention to the laws being passed..the choices being made by our officials.

But change comes in the strangest forms. You have more African Americans that have taken an interest in what is going on in their country. All the majority of us knew before, is that Bush was fucking us but I bet they couldn't really tell you how? They couldn't tell you the laws he was putting on our books that weren't nationally broadcast or being talked about through black media. All we saw were the negative effects it was having on us once it trickled down.

Well I must comment on this video slightly to the contrary. I believe you can look at this from a couple of different aspects. The election of Barack Obama as our next President is a symbol and catalyst for change. If you think about it how many African Americans do you think were up on President Bush's terms,policies,and changes he made while he was in office...a very small amount. There was also no interest in what sports he likes, if he even has kids, let alone his secret service code names.
