Where was mother&father thru this? Grey/static is probably symbolic &a deep pain she cannot look at consciously, 'UNEXPLAINED' to her &what she doesn't EVER "understand. It's like TV, yet blurred,not coming in clear, because TV (stardom)is more important to her parents than SHE is!!' NO WONDER IT's BLURRED; NO child could EVER understand that! -says she can't feel a hug nor hear a kind word. I'd say it 'was missing from her life' (her parents)since they let others have her instead (abandonment).

They let others have her (ABANDONMENT). Maybe her parents NEVER gave the affection she needed, so she 'doesn't feel it the hug/hear the kind words. Who allows A child of 9,11 to sing in PUBS w/daddy's band? WHAT else went on? What if her pain deep inside was...'it confuses me that i am ur means to wealth & nothing more..maybe if I don't eat, I'll stay SMALL& get hugs & kind words from u again & u won't give me away"! It started when they let her go w/ Solomons!! &other TOTAL STRANGERS!

She was too young; why do we allow Hollywood, TV, etc. to exploit children this way? Young children can wish to be SUPERSTARS (& it's fun& games early on, playful like Lena said, she loved it), but they need & belong at home, with mom & dad, learning in school, receiving affection, praise, discipline &not away working a job somewhere w/strangers. What kind of people/parents do that?

I wish that folks would have seen this far earlier then they did, and the scumbags that kept her with sleeping pills should have been thrown in jail.

The shocking photo at 1:34mns is very upsetting. I've never seen that photo before and after having watched her as a child singing "Mama, he's making eyes at me" (only a few hours ago) is very very saddening....

A child singing in front of a small group of relatives and friends in their home town with other kids heir own age is fine,famous on TV and far way from home with a hectic shcedule in front of strangers for money for the manager,not fine by any means.

There shouldn,t be children having careers,they should have their private childhood first,one doesn,t expect a child good at maths to become an accountant or physicist so likewise no-one should have a child on a busy singing career singing in front of strangers.

i its a sad story from a girl who had everything going for her and ended so on her own to died so young.but its good to hear her story so other schild artist be better accompanied on their Careers
