What is Kalaweit ?
Kalaweit is the biggest Gibbons and Siamangs rescue program in the world started in 1998 in Indonesia (Borneo and Sumatra), helping also other animals like orangutans, macaques, loris, snakes, hornbills, protecting forest, helping local communities, etc...

Kalaweit c'est quoi?
Plus grand programme de réhabilitation au monde des Gibbons et Siamangs de Bornéo et Sumatra (Indonésie) en partenariat avec les populations locales, aidant aussi d'autres animaux (orangs-outans, macaques, pythons, calaos, etc...).

Video english resume : Here is 2 females's singing of the 2 kinds of gibbons which live in Bornéo. Yoyo (Hylobates muelleri) and Jacko (Hylobates agilis) being rescued by Kalaweit. Jacko is in quarantine and Yoyo in a big birdhouse. This singing was recorded at Kalaweit program on Hampapak island (Kalimantan Tengah).

Résumé de la vidéo : Voici les chants de 2 femelles des 2 espèces de gibbons présentent sur Bornéo. Yoyo (Hylobates muelleri) et Jacko (Hylobates agilis) ont été sauvés par Kalaweit. Jacko est dans une cage de quarantaine et Yoyo dans une volière. Les chants ont été enregistrés au projet Kalaweit sur l'île d'Hampapak (Kalimantant Tengah).
