Just before Xmas 2008 Prescott, AZ got over 3 to 4 FEET of snow in the Prescott National Forest. The snow on the roof of MG Lodge had over 7 feet of accumulation over a 2 week period. As a result, 75% of the covered patio on the deck caved in (Sunday 1/4/09). The video shows a clip of the remaining 25% get torn down.... (Friday 1/9/09 about 8am).

Peter Medal and Alex Chachula of Allegiance Constuction (602)469-7400 arrived on site Thursday 1/8/09 and worked through the night to remove the fallen deck patio and accumulated snow. The only way it was able to be removed was clear snow and dismantle all components.

Around 10pm (22 degrees outside), the deck was free and clear of snow, ice, and the fallen patio.

The next morning the remaining 25% of patio that was still standing was forced down, dismantled, and the deck was cleared of all snow and debris. A total of 3 tons of snow and Ice were removed on Thursday night, 2 crew working most of the night in 25 degree temps.
