First this was meant to be another game. then Nintendo decided to use it as Mario 2. because this, the gameplay is so different from the other Mario parts.

@iHateToRegister Not quite correct. They used this as Super Mario 2 because they thought that the original SMB 2 would be too hard for the European people and they thought that a second game in SMB 1 style would be too boring. btw, this SMB 2 is copied by the japanese game "Doki Doki Panic".

This game is called Doki Doki Panic in Japan and is not Mario 2 at all. In USA and Europe this game is released as Super Mario Bros 2. In Japan Super Mario Bros 2 is what we call "The Lost Levels"

Not actually ripped off. Nintendo used Mario sprites instead of the original Doki Doki Panic sprites when they brought it to the USA. Originally, they thought Lost Levels would be too hard for American players, so they gave us this. Later on, Nintendo in Japan made Super Mario USA, because the Japanese players wanted our Super Mario Bros. 2. So, it's not a ripoff.

2. Graphics shouldn't have much affect at all when Playing video games ;3

(Unless they sucked so hard that you can't even see whats going on, which is not the case with Mario 2...)
