Pathetic and nowhere near expert. it should be called one legged 1/4 squat, which anybody can do. one leg squat is raise leg to parallel to floor and squat to where hams are touching the calf.

At the moment, there are 138,685 videos from so called "expert"village. Every single video is stupid, misleading and more likely done by an 8 years old retard then "expert".

i don hold to anything. i just do it with one leg. i can do 30 in a row for right leg and 26 in a row for left leg. but i feel really tired after it. y? what does this exercise have to do with cardiovascular and lungs?

other foot should be behind on the bench/low chair. you should support yourself with hand (i use door frame to hold on to). i do 60 to 80 one leg squats that way and until my leg starts burning. so its very good exercise.

if you don't go to at least 90 degrees you might as well not even do this.
