Art Robinson is not a politician. He didn't artfully dodge questions. In fact, he got in a bit of a shouting match with a shrew who was taking his words out of context. He is a scientist, a good citizen, and highly respected in his field. If he'd said 'no, i didn't say that', the obvious media counter would be to show those words, again, taken out of context, in his writings. He was damned if he did, and damned if he didn't.
