jpplaster- T-4-2 started in 1984 with original members Jay Gillian and Jim Goff. Jay was the lead singer until 1988 when Jim moved to Nepal and Will Loconto stepped in. Will sang lead until he left to tour with Information Society. Jay Gillian toured briefly after that with added keyboard players and drummers. He had a hit with "Rhythm Machine". He started a Television and Film company called Cinematek in the mid 90's and directs and produces now. He knows Iris but does not perform with them.

@ JPPlaster - If anyone is moonlighting at Iris shows in Austin, it's got to be Will Loconto. He lives in Austin. Jay still lives in Dallas. Jay has always been at the heart of T42 since it's inception. Now if we can only get the Rhythm Machine album released!!!

hey thanks for the info, that clears things up. this lineup (on the video) must have been the one I saw at Astroworld around 1993. with the mild resurgence of electronic music in the austin scene (esp with infosoc playing there frequently), is there any chance mr. gillian may stage comeback or perhaps a one-off concert?

Dude this f'ing awesome. But as a t42 fan from houston, i'm confused. is the primary lead singer/songwriter Mr. Loconto, or Mr. Gillian? I thought it was the one with long hair? (but I thought it was will loconto)? But it appears its jay gillian in this video? which one is the guy moonlighting at iris concerts in austin these days????
