Ode To Trixie

READ DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An original composition by me. I made a backing track but it's not good, and it's out of sync so I will work on the backing track another time and maybe put an alternate take up with the backing track.

I spent like 3 hours last night writing this. I was just fooling around and coming up with random progressions and i just strung them together. I know it's uncommon for there to be big crescendos (go from soft to loud) early in a song but I was trying to be unique and I think it came out pretty good.

What you see after the video is the rough music sheet I wrote last night. You can see there are lots of notes written everywhere for when I stuck in new parts. I'll need to write a fresh copy thats more legible but for now the song is in my head.

I pretty much had perfect timing filming this song. You can hear at the end right before i turn off the camera the phone rings. If i had started recording just a few seconds later it would have interrupted my playing.

P.S.S. For anyone's who's wondering, Trixie was my first dog, I had her sinse I was a few months old. I can't remember any part of my life without her up until I had to put her down last summer.

You play bass and piano? That's tight. I like how the chords in the beginning are all freaky and off-sounding and then later in the song it all mellows out and becomes a nice progression. Good job dude.

awesome. (i already said that, didn't I? o, well.) I really liked it, it was well-arranged. You could be, like, a sound mixer when you get older (in addition to learning to play every single freaking instrument the world has to offer ^^)
