@keltyk Hi! I've been a huge fan of TD for about 35 years (since the days of Rubycon), followed them right up to the present day, got most of their releases, seen them eight times including once in Germany (I actually live in North Wales, UK). They were first formed more than two years before they recorded their first album, and it's great to come across clips of how they sounded back then - I wish there was more of it around.

@tonythepixel Great symbolism- something new growing from the ruins after extreme trauma in the heart of Europe- perhaps- There's a revolutionary energy in this that's of it's time- and in a way has an angry new wave edge in some ways-- There's a lot of Hendrix's voice in it too-- It's of it's time and looking ahead too- The guitar part is very bluesy--- and it hangs on a kind of awakening moment- just on the edge of Krautrock-
Great clip of TD before their first album. Drummer Klaus Schulze was just 2 years away from starting his electronic music career. The location is the courtyard of the bombed-out Bayernhof Restaurant at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin - the Hyatt Hotel stands there today). When the ruins were cleared away c.1972, the ornamental structure the band is standing on (St. George's Fountain), was re-erected in another part of the city (Hindemithplatz) where it stands today.
