I think it's a GREAT example of how to cut a teaser trailer with literally no material. Very powerful and well written.

I know I wanted to see the movie/ read the book entirely based on this teaser trailer and I usually hate teasers that don't show anything from the movie

It was one of the best teasers i have see i got hooked to the movie, since the first day i saw this on the movies.

I was counting the days till the premier. But i the movie wasn't as spectacular as the teaser.

this is not just a cut. a great animation, very good work, and it's especially good that it doesn't show anything from the movie. it's mysterious.

some trailers show basically the whole plot of the movie which is disappointing. in this case the teaser achieved it's purpose. of course the book was better (as always) but i think the movie adaptation was good, enjoyable and exciting too. Tom Hanks was very good as Langdon.
