as far as i know, all giant centipedes have venom... but from getting bit a couple hundred times i am pretty sure that not all of that venom affects humans. however, this species makes my arm and hand swell up to about twice normal size and tingles a tiny bit. other species make it feel like the bones in my arm are being ground together!

i have a female Indian Ornamental that is 6-7" diagonal leg span, and a bunch of other less quick and venomous tarantulas. i think i have around 200 pet bugs and thousands of feeder roaches :)
