Mortal_Sin_terminators_to_headcapsule.3gp

This is a Scolopendra polymorpha, North American tiger centipede. This is one of the biggest i have seen... it is six inches in body length (not counting antenna or legs) when at rest and seven inches bodylength when fast running where it's body locked ridged.

I try to do like, a virtual tour of mortal sin here, heh

as far as i know, all giant centipedes have venom... but from getting bit a couple hundred times i am pretty sure that not all of that venom affects humans. however, this species makes my arm and hand swell up to about twice normal size and tingles a tiny bit. other species make it feel like the bones in my arm are being ground together!

i have a female Indian Ornamental that is 6-7" diagonal leg span, and a bunch of other less quick and venomous tarantulas. i think i have around 200 pet bugs and thousands of feeder roaches :)

I live in England and scolopendra's are illegal to ship over from other countries so i have some crappy 2 inch non venomous ones

maybe one day. i'm raising a subspinipes to free handle. it's only ~3i now, about 2-2.5" body length... but growing fast
