1st rate storytelling right here. Loved Beckett's fantasy of Elizabeth in white, like he was daydreaming about keeping her locked up with the rest of his possessions, like she was a marble goddess, to be looked at but never touched. It's very true to his character, shows his good taste, eye for beauty and frightening coldness. Brilliant!

read one thing that said that Beckett & Elizabeth were supposed to have a thing going on, but the writers decided that it would be too much, since she gets basically every other man in the movie
