Just finished doing the receiver upgrade on the Supercub from 27 Mhz to 2.4 Ghz. Also fitted a pair of Hitec HS-55 servos. Plane flies smoother and more responsive now.

  • hey mate, just a quick question. How hard was the conversion to 2.4ghz? I'm thinking of doing this to mine, is it pretty straight forward? Just pop in the new reciever?

  • @robnuts01

It was a pretty easy 20 min job. I just installed the Supercub DSM2 receiver. Part # HBZ7357 from the Hobbyzone site.

You will need to buy a pair of 3-pin plug servos for it though. The standard servos are 4-pin and won't work.

    Cheers, Oz
