@mrmilleniumproof Yeah I dont bother with steel cased anymore. I had an issue with wolf on my older rifle. it ran crappy on wolf.

@mrmilleniumproof yeah I added the o-ring to give more tension

@mrmilleniumproof no but i have a friend who loves spikes. they seem to be good to go.

@scrateshooter Thanks! Haha yeah me too. BCM rules!

Thanks for posting this!
BCM makes some good kit.
(I am an AR snob)

@shananagans5 I like mine too! I just did the upgrades to make it even more reliable and durable. My Bushmaster's action is pretty darn silky as well. Its never jammed on my once. That being said, Colt, LMT, BCM, and a couple others make a little better rifle overall.

Nikon you should if you haven't already also mention lower part kits. Years ago I did a build with "Gun Show" parts. I used a sub par " Lower Kit " and had problems. First problem was my Upper and Lower wouldn't close right. It was too tight it would compress the Hammer and springs against the bolt. This in turn disconnected the sear somehow. My Carbine would "Skip" or double fire NOT GOOD ! I bought quality replacement parts and threw away the old.

Thank you for this video. I have seen many times people buying bolts made in China or with World War 2 surplus crap metal and after a few times at the range the bolt breaks and then people bad mouth the AR15s. Colt makes the best overall parts for the basic rifles. I've never seen a Colt bolt break. Bravo company usa is a quality company to buy from. My life is worth more than paying the extra $30.
