I was just testing the viability of using Google Earth as a tool to help ferret out some of the clues for the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Medallion Hunt. You can read the signage on buildings and such fairly well with Google Earth, typically though, the images are going to be dated. In the clues they do use clues that are not absolute steadfast landmarks and I did notice at Meres Park in Saint Paul that the number of Saint Paul Pioneer Press newspaper boxes increased by one since this Google Map was made, so now three corners of the park have Saint Paul Pioneer Press boxes instead of two. I also noticed Face Meres , the signage on the building West of Meres Park is missing when I took the virtual tour of Meres Park on Google Earth.
