One of the great movies of its kind in the 1980s, I present to you a visual selection of obvious mistakes from "The Goonies".

These are not all the mistakes that have been identified but I hope you will appreciate them nonetheless.

I apologise for the text - some of it can be hard to read - but you'll be able to identify the mistakes quite easily.

Also be on the lookout for when Mikey says "Josh" instead of "Brand", I did not point that one out.

hey you missed one at the part when they are in the lobby of the resturaunt or club or whatever if you look in the mirror there you can see the cameraman in the mirror walking it's funny!

Hahahahaha this is by far one of my favorite movies, but Mikey actually calls Brand by hus real name of Josh twice! Once under the resteraunt and when they are in the attic. :) Great job though!!! I definetly was shown some things i didnt notice before!!!!!! haha

@imherslug1 I don't think so. I've seen this movie a few times. I picked out a few of those the very first time watching it. The octopus mistake I remember very clearly and until now didn't know it was a deleted scene. I watched the movie twice after that just making sure I didn't miss something. Lol. As fun as it is to watch though you start seeing these things naturally after about the 3rd or 4th time.

@vagabondmw dynamite has water proof fuse, though a better question is why, after all thoes years down there was the dynamite still stable enough to throw around like that. After a few years the nitroglycerin would have destableized. I'm with you on the match though :)

I always remember Mikey's Dad's inability to tear the paper at the end. Someone else chucked some paper up some shreaded bits behind him :P

Actually, the windscreen thing. He only started singing again as Chunk backed away and the windscreen was out of view.
