@timomastosalo If one listens carefully he/she hears that when Timo sings 'pol pol ...' Sari fills with '(k)kati (k)ka ...' which makes 'polkkati polkka ...'. Later T 'ei poi ...' and S in between 'tätä koo ...' which makes 'ei tätä poikoo ...' (not this boy). Still later T 'sa ä' and S very fast 'livili (p)pyt ...' for 'salivili äppyt'. All snippets from the main lyrics (the last one meaning nothing though).

The Finnish version of scatting existed before the 18 century. Probably most singing traditions worldwide apply somekind of ascatting in their singing. This Loituma version incorporates the jazz style with the Finnish one, makes a fusion of them.
