Les Houches Snowboard Run

This is the very last down hill Snowboard run I did at Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley on the 18th Feb 2011.I start off on a black run then I snowboard onto a red and then eventually a blue ,ending at the back of my chalet

This was all filmed on my DogCam unit attached to my helmet

Its a great resort , and you can ski/snowboard from the top to the bottom of the valley floor

if you get a lesson it will give you great confidence with a snowboard , its worth it to stop you going wrong and waisting time trying to learn the hard way

I'm going to les houches in jan 2012, only been snowboarding a few times and im horrible on drag lifts. many at les houches?

There are some drag lifts , but if you stick to the longer runs , they are mostly chair lifts , you should be fine , its a great place , I have been at argentiere and up the brevents at chamonix but les houches is the best IMHO

completely new to snowboarding, first time. I've skated before and used to be alright. Isit a hard resort to pick things up in your opinion?

great, I wasn't sure which one to go to. i'm really looking forward to it, i've only ever been snowboarding here in Aus, i hear its on a whole diff level (snow) over there. great vid by the way!
