I heard about the oil slick from a sunken ship arriving at Mumbai. I went to Versova beach to check but there was nothing. Then I went a bit further to Juhu beach. And there it was! Millions of oil balls are scattered all over and more arriving with waves. This is the result of a cargo ship, MV RAK that sank 22 nm from Mumbai. Entire crew of 30 members on board has been rescued. Panamanian ship was carrying 60K tons of coal. Mumbai fishermen have been advised NOT to fish in that area.
My feet and foot wear became slimy due to these black oil balls.
