The real face of the Republican party revealed - heartless, mean-spirited, and selfish to the bitter end.

What she was saying is that her mother did not adequate health care. Mr. Steele is a joke if you lived in Maryland and had chance to see him more you would know this.

He's an ignorant ass

Steele is out of his league intellectually and spiritually. I don't think he will ever come to his senses. Congrats to the students who challenged him at Howard.

LOL, so when people are protesting democrats and health care their voicing their freedom of speech but when it's against steele, we'll obviously there just doing it cause they want to be on tv. Whole new meaning to hypocrisy.

He's talking to these young ppl as though they are 9th graders in a civics class. These are college students! They aren't idiots! These students voted last year; they are aware of the issues. Obama engaged yong ppl in the discussion of gov't and policy in a way that hasn't been done in over 35 years! Steel is out of touch. The outburst was a perfect time for him to outline RNC's policies & how they would benefit her. Instead, he acted as immature as the young woman.
-
Steele lost any opportunity for the RNC to gain any respect or support from young, educated Afr. Americans. To think that young ppl don't see the importance of health ins. is erroneous & a prejudgement on his part. Young ppl face health crises as well; Asthma, ADHD and Juvenile Diabetes are the top diseases among youth. What will he tell these students when they can't find a job after graduation & can't get health ins. because they have a pre-existing conditions? He's out of touch w/ reality!

From what I understand, most of the students in attendence were Political Science or pre-law majors. Howard University is the Ivy Leauge of HBCU's. These students aren't idiots. So to come to HU & give these students a pep-talk about who he went from being a poor black kid on 8th street to the token HNIC of the RNC is condescending.
-
First off the fact that he's the head of the RNC is crazy in itself but what really kills me is knowing that no one in the Republican party like's him nor respect him and he has the nerves to bring that right wing big business bs agenda to ah HBC, is like ah slap in the face. Then to try and relate his son's concerns with Health insurance to someone who can't afford Health insurance shows that he is completely out of touch with reality.
It is Howard University that should be ashamed of this travesty of a "town hall." From this video angle, the audience seating looks like a segregated bus from the sixties.
Call it a club meeting if opposing views have to submit their questions up front. Where is the "dialogue" if only one person can direct it?

Howard is a historically black university. The people in the front were either part of Steele's entourage and guests from other republican clubs in DC/George Washington University. I thought it was a bit silly that they got front row seats to an event they weren't hosting but I'm more concerned about the bullshit Steele was spewing than appearance of the audience.
