The opening of Underworld: Evolution only gives us a taste of Bill Nighy as Viktor. Here are the first few seconds of the 2nd film, which ultimately was an awful piece of cinema. Thankfully, the 3rd film rocked.

You mean besides not having Bill Nighy in a major role? :-) Heck, I can't meticulously pick it apart right now from having only seen it once so long ago, but the feeling I had when it was over was the same as watching Men In Black II and Transformers II -- just unbearable. An unworthy mockery of everything the first film set up, and ultimately an embarrassing chapter in what could have been a killer franchise.

@Fumbuck i agree with you but only to a certain extent im always a fan of this movie because i love this series but they just did not capitalize william should have been way more badass and there is just so many things were they had the opportunity to do things and they didnt so all in all i would give this movie like a 5 out of 10 just because there was a build up and no finish but the other two movies rescued it

Viktor is an important character but he is not even the protagonist. So I don't know why people are bitching about it so much. He is also a bad guy, and bad guys always die.
