The Uppercut - rock harmonica

Dedicated to the swedish rock band The Uppercuts. Their performance at Taj Mahal, Västerås, November 21, inspired me to create this piece.

Shure SM57 microphone connected into vocals processor Digitech Vocal 300 connected into Boss recording studio.

Digitech Vocal 300, vocals processor:
distortion, equalizer, reverb

Boss BR-1200CD, digital recording studio:
- bass and drums backing track.
- pitch shifter effects: harmonica, pitch -12 (one octave lowered), D:E balance 100:70.

Hakan is absolutely the most creative guy at harp in the net. I was waiting for such playing 25 years. Hakan you are an individual player but may be one day you could create a harp musical? Why not? You start with blues, than rock and the ending is in heavy metal. You man have the hear at right side.

I always watch these kind of videos then promise myself I will learn to play harmonica and maybe in ten years I can do this. Then I play 12 bar blues for ten minutes and have no idea what to do next and quit. Maybe someday....
