Going Live! | Status Quo kick off 'Rock Til You Drop' tour into end credits | 21/09/1991

As part of World Records Day on Going Live!, Cheryl Baker from Record Breakers chats to Phillip about two record attempts: the first being for the biggest mural in Europe which is painted on the side of TV Centre (Does anyone know if it's still there?) and the rock group Status Quo kicking off their 'Rock til You Drop Tour' in which they attempted to perform a series of four different concerts around the UK in the space of only 12 hours. It won't be there now. it was painted on the side of Stage 5, which was still being constructed at the time (hence all the portakabins scattered around), and Stage 6 has since been built in front of it- which would have obliterated it.

I saw a pic of TVC in 1994 and it was still there then. Yeah, makes sense as I can't remember seeing it last time I was there.

Why does Rossi always faf around with the mic. Look at 2:35 he does this on many occasions but in this vid he looks like he's doing some sorta salute lol

they're faking. there guitar's are not plugged in and you can here rick singing before he's even at the mic. DISQUALIFICATION haha
