I have to say that I’m not a fan of Boyzone but was shocked by the untimely death of Stephen. He is talented but was badly handled and advised in his sole career. I barely stand his sole albums, Michael Jackson’s songs and “single woman” ! He sang beautifully in “Any dream will do”, “once a while” “Razzle Dazzle” and “Stronger”, and would be a much more successful sole artist with songs like these. “Chiquitita” is lovely, too

@JackTheRupert I heard “No Matter What” during an oversea biz trip more than 10 years ago. I was delighted to find the song, also through Andrew Lloyd Webber. (Among all the renditions, I like Michael Ball and Sarah Brightman’s All I Ask of You most!)

A poem from the late 60's says it best:
People so seldom day I Love you, And then it's either too late or love goes.
So when I tell you I love you, It doesn't mean I know you'll never go,
Only that I wished you didn't have to.
Thank you for this documentary. I only discovered Stephen and BoyZone when I watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's birthday celebration and the boys did "No Matter What". Became an instant fan. Then I found out that Stephen died. I felt like I lost my brother!!

It's weird when a star like that dies. It doesn't even seem there gone :*( It's the media and fans who keep that alive. RIP Steo xxx

stephen's death has really effected me too, i was devastated when it happened and i still am devastated. it still doesnt feel real, almost 18 months on, & i dont think it ever will. i think its cos he was such a massive part of me growing up, boyzone were my life, they got me thru the bad times, esp when i was endlessly bullied at school. i'd go home and listen to them and everything would be ok. im 25 now & bz are still my saving grace God bless you Stephen, i miss you and i'll love you forever

Thanx for posting this...In my country, unfortunately they barely talked about him. yeah yeah, boybands were over in the 00's...but I'm 30 and I used to follow/stalk Boyzone back in the days and met them so many times, talked to Steo...realizing he's gone for good is very hurtful. I thank you for posting this, I need for it to get to me finally, otherwise I'll always be delusional
I can't thank you enough for this... I can't stop the tears :'( ...

@BrightEyesDreamin I know what you mean, Stephens passing has had a devastating effect on me too,I would never have imagined that a celeb's death could have such an impact on me.
I am ashamed to say ,I would probably think people should stop being so silly greiving this much for someone they never even met if we were reading about another star and his heartbroken fans.
It's still so hard to comprehend.
