I believe the reason we're seeing people with 4 year degrees turning liberal is based mostly on the people teaching in the education system. I go to a state school and all I've seen is liberal professors spreading their ideas to students. Many students don't hear both sides to the story. I'm not saying this is the entire reason but I've seen a large amount of it.
I agree with what this guy is saying. There is a fundamental change in American society which can be seen in various demographics and polls. It's hard to say exactly how it's going to change in terms of politics, but the power the Republican party has had in recent decades won't continue unchanged. If Republicans are to remian competitive they'll be forced to change with the times.
Except David Frum is smart and he doesn't vote for Obama. Many "educated" people actually are not educated.
