@unicornus33 You can download java apps and a few apps from Samsung. Most free apps tend to access the internet to serve ads. There's no GPS on this phone that apps can access, as far as I know.

i purchased this phone from walmarts website and i hate it. it has to be the worst touchscreen phone ever. when ya txt it is defaulted in t9 mode and cant change it. even in full qwerty keyboard mode. it offers words that make absolutely no sense. when dial a number it inputs numbers that u didnt even touch. and if you go to youtube.com and are NOT on wifi. you can not watch the videos. the touchscreen is not as responsive as it should be since its called a smartphone. do not buy this phone

@MrRherren In numeric mode, you can toggle T9 predictive text by pressing the button that says T9Abc. In QWERTY mode you can turn T9 on and off by pressing the T9 button (shows green when it is on).

@KushFromTheWest Bad pronounciation on my part, but that is one of the attractions of this phone - you don't need to sign up for the $45 unlimited plan.
