Lol, I think your forgetting:

1.) Every country involved in the war was flat broke except for America, which was richer than ever.

2.) Atomic bomb succesfully develpoed by American and British scientists.

3.) Stalin LOST every bit of influence he had by the 80's, leaving America as the only remaining superpower.

4.) We didn't lose the Vietnam war, the side we were supporting lost. Japan, Germany and Italy were the countries that lost World War 2.

That's not propaganda, that's history.

America MOSTLY fought the Japanese alone (with some help from the British empire, Filipino guerrillas, etc). Without Stalin. Stalin joined the fight against Japan AFTER we dropped the Atomic bomb and the war was all but over. The deadliest front in WWII was the eastern front in the European war, true. But I still don't see your point.

And your claim that America was defeated doesn't make sense. The USSR collapsed. Not the US. I've never heard anyone claim the US defeated ALL dictators...?

@MrAmerica1995 well then South Vietnam WITH USA's help lost the vietnam war. And that means that USA was on the side that lost. Its true, you dont necessarily loose if you don't win, but in most war situations, there is a winner and a looser. Depending on how you define "winning" or "loosing", if its withdrawal/number of casualties/lost cause/etc, I still think USA lost. I mean, even tho it wasn't an american war in the beginning, it became so once thousands of soldiers died there

? Your putting words in my mouth. I was clarifying that it's stupid to say that AMERICA lost the Vietnam war, since South Vietnam was defeated by the communist north, and we happened to be providing aid for the south. You don't have to win a war to not loose it. Remember 1812? That was was almost entirely a contest to see if America or Britain had a bigger dick, and neither coutry gained anything by the time it "ended." "Not loosing doesn't necesarily mean "winning" and vice-versa.

@MrAmerica1995 about the 4th statement; saying that USA didnt loose the vietnam war is like saying they didnt loose the iraq war. If you never won, how did you then not loose? I suppose its the american patriotism and not the historical facts talking here

@stu6991 You are right but the only reason why the atomic bomb EVER worked was because of GERMAN scientists in the USA, not UK scientists or CCCP scientists. Other countries obtained the Abomb because they were close allies to the USA, or they just took the remaining Nazi scientists from the end of the war.
