Eyewitness News Montage (WABC-TV)

I decided to make this the recent Saturday that passed. I just figured I should do something fun with all the clips of Eyewitness News I had and make some sort of montage showing the history of Eyewitness News. I really did it for fun but I enjoyed the end result and figured I should share it here with others. Hopefully you will enjoy it as well.

Most of the clips are from the long gone tvnewsman. I really like Eyewitness News so I snagged them all and stored them on my computer. I soon decided to get clips from WNBC, WCBS, WNYW/WNEW, but it was too late! His account was gone!

There are a few clips from videos still on YouTube from Vlad788 and gdinsocal. They are also in my collection and I thank them for posting them on this site! Check them out here:

But most importantly, I'm extending an opportunity for anyone who liked the news clips tvnewsman posted. Like I said, I only have Eyewitness News WABC ones, but I'll be glad to send them to anyone who would like to have them/look at them/whatever. Just send me a message and I'll work something out. Also, if anyone has the clips he posted from the other NY stations, please drop me a line!

This is excellent -- this is the reason why YouTube was invented, to have a place to share all of these lovely clips from the past. It's incredible to reflect on the many many talented professionals that have served up the news for us, year after year after year.
