@Neno8403 lol that might change my mind. I had one crawl over my bare foot one night while at my computer desk, but thats the only time i ever came in contact with one. At first i was scared of them but have gotten used to them over the years. Theymostly stay in my basement so its not that bad, i see maybe 2 a year in my room. Plus they kill bed bugs, cock roaches, and spiders so its worth the risk.

@Tom26229 I'd love to know if you'd honestly feel the same way, if you were joltingly awoken out of a restful sleep by one of these crawling across your face in the middle of the night. That happened to me two years ago, and I'll never be the same, again. FYI, I've rarely ever been bitten by insects inside of my home, which is relatively insect free.

@Neno8403 These are good, dont kill them. I had them in my house for over 20 years and never been bitten. They keep bugs that will bite you out

AAAAAAAHHH!

@Neno8403 NO, NO, NO, these things kill the BEDBUGS AND SPIDERS, AND FLEAS AND TICKS, AND PROBABLY THE CRABS OR LOBSTERS THAT BREED IN YOUR BED AT NIGHT

Centipedes are Chilopoda....just because insects are one group of arthropods doesn't mean every arthropod class can be called insects. Insects have six legs. Uneducated nutwad.
I'm disgusted. House Centipedes are my most hated insects. If I find one in my house, I literally cannot go to sleep until I know it's dead. And don't think about walking away for a moment to find something to kill it with. It'll disappear into the night at a blink of an eye. Yuck!
