KWTV is (and always has been) a CBS affiliate, so that might be why the graphics font in this clip were the same that CBS News was using at the same time.

@blitz811 Yep before Sinclair Broadcasting Group gave her the shaft when they did the News Central format...and then made a deal with WPXI to do their 10 news.

@travischurch My mom still is quite fond of 1980's-style glasses. The eyeglasses I wear from time to time are much more modern in style, to say the least.

I know Gary has saved a lot of lives. I remember in the May 3rd '99 tornado he said "get underground". He wasn't kidding! We got underground fast. He always comes on when there is danger.. like he is there right now!

LOL! Yep, they were quite popular in the early 80s. My Mom had some. But by '86 they were a bit out of date.
