CassetteMaster really sampled funk in his rap song. Hip hop was an extension to funk in the first place; but it got fucked up with shitty beats that sound nothing like funk.
If only we could just bring back the old style of funk.
I breakdance to funk because it symbolically honors the fact that hip hop was an extension to funk since breakdancing started in the infancy of hip hop.
