The Seasons of Almonte

Almonte's Naismith Public School Grade 8 class, with the Gryphon Trio, perform their collaborative composition "The Seasons of Almonte", conducted by Rob Kapilow, Arranged by Andrew Staniland, Instructed by Shelly Smith. The culmination of the Gryphon Trio's inaugural Listen Up! educational programme, a classical music outreach model that engages students and communities in writing poetry and music, along the way learning the skills needed to appreciate classical music for a lifetime. The Gryphon Trio are Annalee Patipatanakoon, violin, Roman Borys, cello, and Jamie Parker, piano.

I recorded this on 4 tracks (L/R/C condenser mics over the stage, plus the feed from the vocal and lav mics off the board), mixed it a bit and used it to replace the audio on the HD video I shot with my Lumix. So if the sound track is off by a millisecond or so, that's my fault :) bg
