  • Typical rubbish ref - they don't change. Decides to be 'controversial' and have the pen retaken on the rare occasion when the keeper doesn't actually move. Next day the keeper clearly moves, saves the kick, and he does nothing. Would be good to see all these goals. I think Chelsea won 4-2 (Osgood 3 & Houseman), and went on to win the Cup that year in one of the most memorable finals.

  • Good impartial decision by the referee.

  • "Venables puts the ball on the spot". What f**&%N spot?? Where's that bloke from Derby who runs on with a bucket of emulsion to re-paint the penalty spot when you need him?

  • @stilllifemusic It is, yes!

  • Goalkeepers without gloves!!!!! Compare that to the "cushions" that todays keepers wear.

  • Every pitch in that '70 cup run was worse than the last, Wembley being worst of all. I'd love to see how the likes of Drogba, Ronaldo and Messi coped on pitches like that, whilst being marked by Chopper Harris or Jack Charlton!

  • is that terry venables?

  • Another example of bend officials.

  • Goalies nowadays are allowed to get away with moving well before the kick. Bonetti was a great goalie

  • Even back then, the refs did anything to prevent us of winning I see..much like today!
