In response to a suggestion on Triple M's "Get This" that everyone in Australia make their own telemovies about the Tasmanian mine collapse before the TV networks do, I made my own version -- a powerful drama named (as mandated by "Get This" host Tony Martin)... "Shaft Of Hope".

My "Shaft Of Hope" is what I imagine the Channel Nine telemovie would be like -- an enormous whitewash glorifying mostly themselves and some abstract concept of "Aussie mateship".

"Shaft Of Hope" stars audience favourite MR FLIG as both Todd and Brant!
