It's interesting how everyone has a different testimony. This guy says the Officer was yelling at Victor but the lady said he wasn't giving verbal commands. These kids are letting their perceptions about the police run over into what they witnessed. I think people are getting way to fired up over this incident. It was a series of mistakes on both of their parts that escalated into the tragic outcome. May Victor rest in peace and may his family have some of the closure that they deserve.

the problem with these news reports is this one is from a local station that covers up alot of the facts but if u watch the stories like the one on my profile page the truth really starts coming out you see these local news anchors do not want to upset the local authorities for fear of retaliation same goes for our local newspaper

@misswarpants so what if he missed, the officer shouldn't be trying to renegade taser shots will driving on the sidewalk so close to someone that he's unable to stop. I've also read several articles stating that it's believed the gun was PLANTED on Victor at the scene. His fingerprints weren't on it. I don't know if this is true, but the officer hadn't seen the gun yet, and the gun wasn't even admissible as evidence. Cops can't just do whatever they want, they need to abide by the law.

@cosmiccheryl not sure I follow you. Construct a sentence? I am now a victims advocate of police abuse and execessive force issues,clearly Victor Steen is a victim as was his whole family.

@mertygurl He's a young black man living in one of the most racist states in the country. He started to ride on his bike and was immediately followed extremely closely by a car while being screamed at. Would you stop? I'd be terrified. The officer then tried to taser him while riding so close that he couldn't even stop when Victor fell off the bike. I wouldn't have stopped either. What if Victor HAD stopped riding? Do you think the officer would've been able to stop then? Probably not.

@wld1985 @wld1985 you can watch the police dashcam video as it was released as evidence. The officer WAS yelling at Victor. Maybe the lady was letting her FEAR of the police run over into what SHE witnessed. People SHOULD get fired up over this incident. This officer has made 2 improper arrests in the past. People shouldn't stand for this obstruction of justice.
