The creation of a Sheriff's posse is a good thing and training is necessary at times. Law abiding armed citizens make up this posse, in order to enforce the law against enemies of the law and the Constitution.

@SourceCode2006 keep in mind that the people in the video were just citizens here in Bossier. they weren't actual deputies (other than the uniformed ones). the actual deputies that come out in force are normal aged cops, and have every gun you could imagine with them.

No Offense Sheriff Deen, I dont agree with the path our government has taken either, but what is happening in the world and in this Country is not in our hands and is not in our control. What is happening in the world is part of Gods plan as indicated in his Word. We should not take up arms against anyone, we are to be preaching of his salvation...even unto death. Jesus did not come out with karate and and firearm and kill the romans did he?? There's a reason the US isn't mentioned in the bible.

Mudbug is right. This sheriff is only trying to prepare to NOT do what just happened in Chile, and what so imfamously happened after Hurricane Katrina. He's only trying to learn from history and do the right thing.

Mixed. Ironically, arts that emphasize "reality" tend to drift into fantasy (i.e. "We're so real we can't practice our techniques without maiming you, so let's paw at the air instead."), and KM sometimes falls into this trap. I have heard extremely positive things about some schools, but usually they had a BJJ/MT/boxing program to supplement the KM.

I wouldn't make KM my first choice, but it's not the worst either. If they have a fight team, they might be a good school.
