I'm embarrassed but not ashamed to say that I'm a new vegan and am eagerly seeking out, absorbing, understanding and sharing this information. So, I appreciate this. Subscribed and looking forward to more and for ways I can give back and educate as I grow in my learning.

  • La alimentacion carnivora esconde una gran violencia, que naturalmente no viene mostrada por uqe si fuera mostrada tantas personas dejarian de comer carne, y esto perjudicaria el mercado zootecnico. La violencia debe ser secreta, El consumador no debe ver la agonia, el terror, no debe sentir los gritos desesperados de estos seres inocentes.. Es ilusorio pensar que se pueda eliminar la violencia, estando indiferente al dolor de los animales. no humanos.

  • @TheCite Singer and Francione's fundamental philosophies oppose one another.

    Singer believes animals do not have rights and do not care if they are used, only if they suffer.

    Francione believes any sentient being has the right not to be property.

    Essentially, Singer believes animals should be "liberated" in the same sense as a slave is "liberated" by being enslaved up the river vs. down the river.

  • Although their philosophies are slightly different, I think we can all agree that Singer, Reagan and Francione have powered the same notion of animal liberation.
