  • Such a fine record...one of the best vocal records of the era. Nice little band there with Jane, as well...most likley the great Mike Mosiello on trumpet. Love the trombone passage with a sort of tango rhythm!

  • Jane did a great job on everything she recorded, too bad she left us so little. Thanks for watching!

  • I can't understand why such a wonderful artiste should have passed my attention. I am overwhelmed by her great voice.

Thank you for sharing this great post.

  • My second favorite song by the wonderful Ms Green. Glad you are enjoying her!

  • It is very detailed and lots has to do with your set up for recording etc and tools you have available to restore the recording. What are you currently using?

  • Belle Baker is my favorite but Jane is a close second. Thanks for the compliment on the sound. I have recently found a method for restoring these old 78's that I am happy with.

  • Next to Lee Morse, Jane's my favorite songbird. They both have expressive and unmannered ways of getting into a song. I also applaud the quality of this recording; it sounds super-clean, like it was recorded yesterday...

  • Thank you for posting this! Jane's one of my favorite Vintage Songbirds. Also, this recording sounds great! Lee Morse is my favorite, but Jane's hot on her heels; an endearing quality of both singers is how expressive they are and how natural and unmannered their approach is.
