@kevinh2206 A nother thing is the soul. When Mark made this song he pick a part of him self, a part out of his own feelings, memories ,experience and subconsciousness. Even if the storyline is made up he still lives in it.
Thats what makes the song living/soulful and thats why we listen to Mark Knopfler playing it and not some randoms, becaus no one feels the song like he does. <3
